It's Who

We all tend to get tired and worn of this life and the routine that comes with life.
Or sometimes, we get tired and worn of routine changing constantly, and a busy life.
After the True Woman Conference last weekend, I felt renewed and refreshed...but then the school week came.
My attitude for the week and everything that was going to occur changed completely. Each day I seeked to find joy in the day, because the Lord is my joy. Joy shouldn't be a feeling, but a characteristic in your life.
But how do we keep that energy that comes after a conference even when life gets tough?
By the end of the week, I was tempted to go back to my old thinking...complaining and not having joy even when it was easy not to.
But we must remember...there's no reason to complain because Jesus took the worst pain we could experience away from us when we died on the Christ! Isn't that encouraging?
One of my favorite things that one of the speakers talked about at the conference
During trying times...and we want to ask WHY, we must think of WHO.
WHO is in control? The Lord Jesus Christ is in control.
Even when the energetic feeling of hope and being able to do anything for Christ feeling goes away, we need to have a feeling of hope even when we are brought back to reality.
So when you feel like the world is crashing down and there's no hope, think about WHO. Who is in control? Jesus Christ is in control of your life...and is going to use your circumstances for HIS glory.

  2. Wow...What a beautiful way to think of it. When faced with trouble "Why?" is often a question I ask, of complain, over. Thank you for sharing. =) <3
